• Idea
  Originality and creativity of the idea. Can it be applied to real world problems? Does the product of potential for future growth? Does the project present a novel or clever use of technology?
• Implementation
  Is there a working demo of the project? Does it have a sophisticated/interesting tech stack? (Note that since it is a Hackathon, small bugs are ok.)
